The video series is the result of composition, travel and teamwork across three different countries over several years. It reflects Kai’s own journey on a geographical, musical and personal level.

Another extension of the series is a repackaging of the England music / video. This audiovisual performance was developed for an assessment at university exploring electronic music and live performance. One of the challenges and motivators for this project was to project on screen behind the performer what was also being played live.
To dive deeper into the audiovisual performance project, you can explore the series of ‘insight’ clips. These one minute videos range from thoughts on preparation and improvisation to how Ableton Live was incorporated for both music and live visuals.
