Teaching

I am passionate about seeing people learn new skills and enjoying to be creative with music. Teaching music is a great way of passing on what I have learned while at the same time joining someone’s journey of finding their own creative voice. I have graduated with a BA (Hons) in Music from the University of Sussex and offer piano lessons both in-person & online. I am available locally in Worthing in West Sussex, UK.

My own diverse musical background on various instruments ranges from… 

… solo performances to touring with ensembles,

… songwriting for acoustic bands to composing for orchestra,

… classical music to jazz, blues, pop & electronic music.

Learning (or advancing on) the piano with me could include reading music notation but also free playing and improvisation. One of my strengths is accompanying vocal or band performances with musical sensitivity. With some of my students we have also ventured into writing music and composition.
